AMN Portfolio

Designer · Brand, interface, motion and AI-assisted build · 2026
My portfolio is one flight through 3-D space that splits into two paths: Design Answers, through the businesses I designed for, and Art Questions, into a gallery of my paintings. I designed the identity, the interface, the motion and the sound, and built it in TypeScript with GSAP using Claude Code.
Project story
The project
I built andrewmichaelnathan.com to show both sides of my work in one place. After my face and name, the flight stops at a choice. Design Answers leads to the businesses I designed for, and Art Questions leads into a gallery of my paintings. Each path ends where the visitor can switch paths, read About or get in touch.
This Designer Dashboard holds the businesses in one place, with filters, a search, the work counted by type and the before and after scores of two redesigns. Valestra and Solavelle open as full case studies, each a board of design answers with the proof beside them.
Every figure on the site comes from the site's own data, and every brand color is measured from the work itself and checked at each build. The flight steps by keyboard, names each stop in a chapter map, and becomes an ordinary page for anyone who prefers less motion.
The identity
The identity is a black void and condensed capitals. Oswald sets the headings, Montserrat the text and DM Mono the labels, all hosted on the site itself. Each business lights the space in its own measured color while it is on screen, so the work brings the color and the frame stays quiet.
Logo design
The AMN mark sets my initials as one interlocking lockup, with my full name on a band across the middle. It heads every page. In the header, a cartoon of me walks in beside it and strikes one of nine poses.
Supporting work
Sound made in code, with no recordings: a rush of air that follows the camera's speed, and a soft tick at each stop. It stays off until the visitor turns it on.
A contact form that sends me the message and sends the sender a thank-you, and a resume page ready to print.
